Addiction & Recovery

Getting sober is one thing. Staying sober—and actually feeling like yourself again—is something else entirely.

Many people come to therapy after they’ve already done a lot of work. You may be sober, functioning, and doing “well” on paper, but still feel anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you are without the coping strategies you used for years.

This is where deeper therapy matters.

Therapy for People in Recovery

I work with individuals who are sober, in recovery, or questioning their relationship with substances. Many of my clients are high-functioning, self-aware, and used to pushing through—but underneath, there’s still unresolved pain, old patterns, or a sense that something isn’t fully settled.

In our work together, we focus on:

  • Understanding the emotional roots of addiction

  • Processing trauma, grief, and underlying pain

  • Regulating your nervous system

  • Building self-trust and emotional resilience

  • Navigating relationships, boundaries, and identity in recovery

  • Supporting long-term, sustainable sobriety

Beyond Sobriety

Recovery is not just about removing substances. It’s about building a life that actually feels good to be in.

That includes:

  • feeling more grounded in your body

  • having healthier relationships

  • trusting yourself

  • being able to tolerate emotions without shutting down or escaping

  • reconnecting with who you are underneath survival patterns

My Approach

My work is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in real change—not just insight.

I draw from EMDR, somatic therapy, CBT, Internal Family Systems, and addiction recovery work to help you process what’s unresolved and move forward in a way that feels clear, stable, and aligned.

I’m direct, intuitive, and practical. I’ll help you understand your patterns, but also support you in actually shifting them.

Who This Is For
